A serious accident occurred yesterday around 8 PM at Liverpool Roundabout, Inward Creek Road, in the Apapa area of Lagos.
The incident involved a loaded Mack truck and a Mikano ZNA pickup.
According to LASTMA officials, the truck’s brake failure caused the collision, resulting in one male casualty who was rushed to a nearby hospital.
As of 10 PM yesterday, vehicular movement from Liverpool Bridge to the roundabout had resumed, but work to remove the empty container that fell from a truck was still pending.
Officers were on-site, managing the situation and awaiting the arrival of a crane to complete the cleanup.
