Jacksonville rapper Ksoo, real name Hakeem Robinson, spoke out on Instagram after being found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2020 killing of Charles McCormick.

Facing a mandatory life sentence in Florida, Robinson claimed the trial was unfair, alleging racial bias in the judicial process.

In his Instagram post, Robinson wrote, “I just showed the whole world how Jacksonville Florida is corrupt.”

He claimed his jury was all-white, with three white state attorneys, a white judge, and portraits of white judges on the courtroom walls.

Robinson further stated that every Black juror he could have selected was struck by the state, asserting, “My lawyers proved I was innocent god got the last say so.”

“Begging for race sympathy while killing black men lmao, we are moving past this. Slam that cell behind him,” An X user reacted to Ksoo’s post.

Another said: “Didn’t his black father get on the stand and tell on him smh those white jurors had nothing to do with your Dad telling on you bro”

The guilty verdict followed a six-day trial where prosecutors presented dashcam and surveillance footage, social media posts, and testimony, including from Robinson’s father, linking him to the gang-related shooting. The defense argued the evidence did not conclusively identify Robinson as the shooter.

Robinson’s comments have sparked discussions about fairness in the Jacksonville judicial system, though no official response from the court has been reported.
