In a heartwarming turn of events, the longstanding rift between Fuji music legend King Saheed Osupa and street-pop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been resolved amicably out of court.
The feud, which had once stirred public concern within the entertainment industry, has now been put to rest through peaceful dialogue and mature intervention. According to King Saheed Osupa, the matter has been addressed as a “father and son” issue, signaling his decision to approach the dispute with grace, understanding, and a spirit of reconciliation.
Speaking on the resolution, renowned showbiz promoter and CEO of Yankee Entertainment, Kehinde Adegbite, popularly known as Mallam Yankee, confirmed that a virtual meeting was held between both parties, where they agreed to settle their differences privately. The meeting, which also included the involvement of Osupa’s team and Portable’s new management, emphasized peace and unity over prolonged hostility.
Mallam Yankee, who currently manages Portable, expressed profound gratitude to all those who contributed to the reconciliation process. He extended special thanks to respected entertainment figures and industry stakeholders whose influence and support were instrumental in brokering peace. Among those mentioned were Daddy Showkey, Pasuma Wonder, Abu Abel, Bankulli, and Dr. Ezekiel Adamu, among others.
