Nigerian-Ghanaian rising star Jainy has bared her heart in an emotional note shared on Instagram, opening up about her journey in the music industry following the release of the remix to her Amapiano single, “Unknown.”
The singer, who recently teamed up with South African sensations Alfakat and Lintonto for the remix, reflected on the obstacles she has faced while carving a space for herself in an increasingly competitive industry.

The singer also explained why “Unknown” holds a special place in her heart. For her, the song reflects the battles she has fought, the healing she continues to experience, and the woman she is becoming.
“This journey is far from easy, but it’s mine,” she wrote. “And I’m walking it with gratitude, fire and the strongest support system behind me.”
