Popular Nigerian singer and Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, better known by his stage name J. Martins, has narrowly escaped death after his car veered off the expressway and plunged into a bush.
The terrifying incident occurred on Monday along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt expressway, reportedly after his vehicle suffered a sudden brake failure while in motion.
According to eyewitnesses, the car lost control and swerved violently off the road, crashing into thick vegetation before coming to a halt. Miraculously, the “Good or Bad” crooner emerged unscathed from the wreck, walking away without any visible injuries.
Speaking about the near-tragic experience, J. Martins described the moment as “terrible” but expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing his life.
“It was a terrible experience, but I thank God for saving me. I came out without a scratch. God truly gave me another chance,” he said.
The music star, who has recently been balancing his entertainment career with public service duties in Abia State, was reportedly on his way for an official engagement when the accident happened.
