Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi is now the first Nigerian player to score 30 plus goals, and record 30 plus assists in the history of the Premier League.

Iwobi entered the record books following his match-winning performance against Liverpool, which saw him score one goal, and one assist.

The former Arsenal midfielder scored the second goal for Fulham in the 32nd minute, and he assisted Rodrigo Muniz for the third goal just before halftime.

Iwobi racked up 45 touches, 19 completed passes, three shots on target, and an assist to hand Liverpool their first defeat in 26 Premier League matches.

The 28-year-old has now scored 30 goals, and recorded 34 assists in the Premier League, becoming the first Nigerian to record such a feat.

Since making his Premier League debut for Arsenal in 2015, he has made 284 appearances in the competition for Arsenal, Everton, and Fulham.

He has earned 114 wins, and suffered 107 losses, while creating 52 big chances.

Iwobi has scored 22 goals with his right foot, six with his left foot with a shooting accuracy of 38%, while recording a total of 8,735 passes in the division.

The win over Liverpool is Iwobi’s 114th win in the Premier League, overtaking Nwankwo Kanu’s record of 113th victories to occupy the second position behind Mikel Obi, who is leading the chart with 149.

The former Chelsea midfielder is the Super Eagles player with the most wins in Premier League history.

Up next for Iwobi, and his Fulham teammates is a clash against Bournemouth next Monday.
