Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi continued his impressive form for Fulham with a goal against Chelsea in the 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
However, Iwobi’s goal was not enough to hand the hosts the maximum points as Chelsea fought back to snatch a late win to boost their Champions League hopes.
The former Arsenal midfielder put Fulham ahead in the 20th minute with a composed finish for his ninth Premier League goal of the season.
Iwobi has now scored in two consecutive home games for Fulham after delivering a match-winning performance against Liverpool with a goal and one assist in the encounter.
The 28-year-old has now scored nine goals and recorded five assists in 33 matches for Fulham in the Premier League this season.
Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey was in action for the whole duration of the match.
Tyrique George, and Pedro Neto scored two second-half goals to hand Chelsea the maximum points.

Marco Silva: “I really believe the result is very harsh for us but the second half was not our level and we lost the game.”
Enzo Maresca: “I’m very happy. First of all because I think we deserved to win the game. We started well in the first 20 minutes but then we conceded a goal unfortunately and in a match that is a must-win, that is not easy for the players.”
