Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly declared that he is not seeking reconciliation with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, insisting that he does not want her back in his home.
In a detailed statement issued through his communication team, Nwoko said his only concern is for the actress to return to therapy and get “professional help,” stressing that reconciliation is off the table for now.
The senator doubled down on his earlier accusations, alleging that Regina’s recent public outbursts are fueled by hard drugs, claims she has strongly denied, even warning she would “expose more” if he continued dragging her name into controversy.
According to the statement, Nwoko dismissed Regina’s counter-allegations ranging from manipulation to the use of drugs and sex as control tactics as “lies from the pit of hell.”
His team also published what they called the last verifiable communication between the couple: a WhatsApp message sent on October 17, in which Nwoko complained about her behaviour, issued an ultimatum about therapy, and threatened rehabilitation in Asokoro if she refused.
The senator further alleged that Regina’s conduct escalated afterwards, claiming she became violent, destroyed property, and adopted habits he described as “unhygienic and alarming.” He said that in the last eight months, she had “become something else,” often refusing to bathe, leaving her environment unclean, and needing reminders to sleep in her own room.
Nwoko did not spare BBNaija winner Phyna, alleging that her presence and that of other friends fueled Regina’s behaviour. He accused them of visiting at odd hours, partying through the night, and encouraging a lifestyle he could no longer tolerate.
The statement also referenced an incident where Regina allegedly filmed him in the bathroom and posted it online, calling it one of many erratic behaviours that made coexistence unsafe.
Nwoko’s team linked the climax of the crisis to the actress’s recent birthday celebration, during which she allegedly rented an entire hotel floor and engaged in “four days of drugs, violence, and fights with police and guests.”
The statement stressed that the senator’s priority is no longer the marriage but ensuring Regina seeks therapy or rehabilitation, “if not for herself, then for the sake of our two lovely boys.”
The released WhatsApp message paints a picture of growing tension, late-night parties, suspected drug supply from friends, and concerns about the children’s wellbeing.
Nwoko concluded that until Regina is fully rehabilitated, he will no longer fund her lifestyle.
