Liverpool star Luis Diaz has expressed his desire to stay at the club for many years, shutting down rumours of his exit in the summer.
The Colombian forward has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer but he has committed his immediate future to Liverpool.
Diaz has two years remaining on his contract after joining Liverpool from Porto in 2022, and he has expressed his desire to sign a new deal.
He said: “Yes, happy. From the first day I arrived, I’ve always been happy, calm, and enjoying the football played by this great team.
“We’ll be talking about it, we’ll talk about it [about the renewal]. For me, I would stay however many years it takes, it also depends on the club, everything.
“These are details that are sorted out separately. Very calm, I’m happy and enjoying the Premier League.”
Diaz has enjoyed his most productive season at Liverpool by scoring 17 goals and recording eight assists in all competitions to lead the club to their 20th Premier League title.
He has featured in 34 out of 36 Premier League matches for Liverpool this season.
The Reds will be back in Premier League action against Brighton at the Amex Stadium next Monday.
