The screen diva broke the sad news on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, via a heartfelt Instagram post where she simply wrote: “R.I.P Mum” alongside a candle and broken heart emoji; a short but deeply emotional tribute that conveyed the weight of her loss.
Although the actress did not reveal the exact circumstances surrounding her mother’s death, the post has since attracted an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the entertainment industry.
During her lifetime, Abisola Grace Owodunni was a respected Nigerian businesswoman. She ran a supermarket and was known for her disciplined yet nurturing nature.
