Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has sent a strong message to fellow artistes and critics who are allegedly plotting against him, warning that opposing him comes with dire consequences.
The ‘Pity This Boy’ crooner made the statement during a recent appearance on the Comfortably Speaking Podcast, where he addressed ongoing industry tensions and the recent wave of subliminal disses directed at him.
In his words, Odumodublvck made it clear that he feels no need to respond aggressively but rather sees his continued success as the ultimate response to his detractors.
“I regret on behalf of my enemies because I’m going to be everything they don’t want me to be,” he declared. “I regret on their behalf for even thinking of going against me. Going against me is a heavy burden to carry.”
The rapper further advised those holding grudges against him to let go of their resentment, warning that their bitterness could end up being self-destructive.
“I wish they could find a place in their hearts and wish me well so that my success would not drive them to destruction,” he added.
Odumodublvck’s comments come amid his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez, who recently reignited their long-standing rivalry in his new track ‘ACL.’
In the song, Blaqbonez takes multiple shots at Odumodublvck, mocking his artistry and accusing him of using streaming farms to inflate his numbers on digital platforms.
The jab quickly stirred controversy on social media, reigniting debates among fans about who the better rapper is between the two artists.
Despite the shade, Odumodublvck appears unfazed, maintaining that he is focused on his craft and growth rather than getting dragged into petty disputes.
With both rappers currently at the forefront of Nigeria’s hip-hop renaissance, fans are eagerly watching to see if Odumodublvck will respond musically or let his achievements do the talking.
