Chicago police are investigating four separate overnight homicides across the South and Southwest sides, including fatal incidents in Chicago Lawn, Little Village, Greater Grand Crossing, and Woodlawn.

Four men were killed in separate incidents across Chicago’s South and Southwest sides overnight.

Police officials reported four distinct homicide investigations unfolding between Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.

No arrests have been announced in connection with any of the fatal incidents.

The earliest incident occurred in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on Saturday night.

Officers responded to a home in the 2400 block of West 61st Street around 8:30 p.m.

A 52-year-old man was discovered inside the residence suffering from injuries to his body.

Emergency responders transported him to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where medical personnel pronounced him dead.

Area detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death as a homicide.

Just after midnight on Sunday, officers responded to another incident in the Little Village neighborhood.

A man was found unresponsive in the 2700 block of South Karlov Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Paramedics transported the victim to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Roughly an hour later, police responded to a shooting in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

Officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 7600 block of South Cottage Grove at approximately 1:25 a.m.

He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where medical staff pronounced him dead.

About an hour after the Greater Grand Crossing shooting, another violent encounter occurred in Woodlawn.

Police officers responded to the 6600 block of South Champlain Avenue, where they located two injured men.

Investigators determined that one man was shot in the head, while the second man was shot in the leg.

Both victims were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for emergency care.

The man who was shot in the head was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical facility.

The second victim, a 20-year-old man, was listed in fair condition by hospital staff.

Chicago Police Department area detectives are actively investigating all four cases, and no suspect details have been released.
