Fola’s first headline concert in Lagos drew big crowds but left many fans unhappy. The event took place on December 15, 2025, and sold out fast. However, people quickly shared their complaints online.
Fans pointed out that the hall was too small for the number of attendees. One person posted on X, “This hall they used for this Fola’s concert is so tiny and hot, I’m so frustrated right now.”
Another added, “The people that organized this Fola show no try at all. I’m sure they know the total number of people that bought tickets and they still chose to use this venue.”
The performance itself also drew criticism for being too short. Fola appeared on stage at 12:25 AM, and the show ended by 1:10 AM. This made the main act last less than an hour. A fan remarked, “Fola came out 12:25 and by 1:10, event is over. Omo x 1million. Nah this rubbish sha.”
Others questioned the choice of location. “The Fola’s show is ass… why use a hall, don’t you know your crowd?” one attendee wrote.
Before the event, Fola shared his excitement on X. He thanked fans for buying tickets and promised a great night. The show started after 7 PM and was set to end by midnight. Despite the quick sell-out, the venue and timing issues overshadowed the success.
Organizers have not responded to the complaints yet.
