A double shooting in Auburn Gresham has claimed the lives of a man and a woman.
The victims were sitting in a parked vehicle when gunmen approached and opened fire.
Police identified the deceased as 37-year-old Robert S. Parker and 44-year-old Diane C. Fisher.
The shooting occurred on the 8500 block of South Aberdeen Street around 4:45 p.m. last Monday.
Investigators say the victims were inside a GMC SUV with a 27-year-old man.
A group of individuals approached the vehicle on foot.

At least one person in that group pulled a weapon and began shooting into the SUV.
Parker was struck twice in the head during the hail of gunfire.
He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Medical staff pronounced Parker dead at 5:01 p.m. shortly after arrival.
Fisher also suffered a gunshot wound to the head during the attack.
She was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.
Fisher fought for her life for several days before passing away Thursday morning.
The 27-year-old man also in the SUV was not injured in the shooting.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled both deaths as homicides.

Robert Parker’s sister spoke out following the tragedy, noting he was a father of four.
The family is now pleading for the public’s help to find those responsible.
No suspects are currently in custody as detectives continue to comb through evidence.
