Faker Headbutting Wall

Fans React to Video of Faker Headbutting Wall After LCK Defeat

People have reacted to a video of Faker headbutting a wall after losing in the LCK. His teammates had to hold him back to prevent him from hurting himself.

T1 had a great run in the Esports World Cup, winning Worlds 2023, but they’ve always struggled against Gen.G.

This summer, no team in the LCK has beaten Gen.G.

On August 3, 2024, T1 seemed to have a strong start against Gen.G, with a big lead. However, mistakes by Faker led to their loss.

The second match was also close, but Gen.G capitalized on T1’s errors and quickly won. After the match, a video showed Faker slamming his head into a wall in frustration before his teammate Gumayusi stopped him.

The hashtag #We_Stand_For_Faker started trending quickly after the video surfaced, with fans expressing their support for him.

Many people have reacted to the video of T1’s Faker banging his head on the wall.

A fan wrote on X: “A lot of people are making fun of this but can’t fathom the level of obsession(call it healthy or unhealthy) required to be at the very top so consistently. He poured his entire life into pushing limits and it was only possible due to extreme self criticism. This is a crucial look inside of the character types that break boundaries of their fields. It is not all glory and fame and it is certainly not for money or easy life. I’m really glad that he has good team mates and friends around him when he needs them the most. The biggest weakness of being obsessed by greatness is the potential for self destruction.”

Another said; “Losing is painful but you don’t have to hurt yourself on that, you prepare for a better future opportunity”.

“faker is so hard on himself. Was so sad to see him cry after losing the world championship”, Another added.
