Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has deactivated her Instagram account following widespread rumors that her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has welcomed a child with fellow actress Chika Ike.
Social media has been hot with claims that Chika Ike, who recently announced the birth of her baby through maternity photos on Instagram, is allegedly set to move into the billionaire politician’s mansion.
This has sparked speculations that she has become Nwoko’s seventh wife.

Amid the ongoing controversy, Regina Daniels, who has remained inactive on social media since the birth of the child, took the step of deactivating her Instagram account on Monday. While she has yet to make any public statements regarding the allegations, her social media absence has raised further curiosity among fans.
Ned Nwoko Responds to Allegations
In response to the circulating rumors, Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly refuted claims that he has taken Chika Ike as his seventh wife and fathered a child with her. On Monday, unverified reports flooded social media, suggesting that the actress had given birth to Nwoko’s child.
However, Nwoko’s camp swiftly released an official statement through his Director of Communications, dismissing the allegations as “false and malicious.” The statement read:
“Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him. We categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation.
Similarly, reports claiming he made statements about Tuface and polygamy are completely untrue. As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories.
However, Senator Nwoko is currently on a national assignment, focused on delivering on his political mandate, and has no time for distractions. This office remains available to journalists for verification of information, and we remind media practitioners of the consequences of spreading fake news. The public is advised to disregard these rumors and rely only on official statements from his office.”
