Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has been rushed to the hospital after a self-harm scare that reportedly followed her public allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
The incident comes shortly after the actress took to social media to accuse the clergyman of betraying her after what she described as a long-term intimate relationship. Ogala had alleged that the pastor ended their affair to marry another woman, a development she said left her emotionally devastated.
In her earlier outburst online, the actress claimed she went through severe personal challenges during the relationship, including making major sacrifices for him. She also vowed that the proposed marriage would not succeed.
A video that later surfaced online showed signs of distress around the actress, including her being attended to with bandages on her arms. In the clip, a man could be heard expressing concern over her condition and questioning whether she intended to harm herself.
The man, who appeared to be assisting her, appealed to Pastor Chris Okafor to intervene and help ensure she received proper medical attention. He was later seen accompanying the actress to the hospital for treatment.
