He added: “Susan was not just my best friend and partner in life, but a brilliant mind, a loving mother, and a dear friend to many.”

“Her impact on our family and the world was immeasurable. We are heartbroken, but grateful for the time we had with her. Please keep our family in your thoughts as we navigate this difficult time.”

Did Susan Wojcicki Smoke

There have been no official reports confirming that Wojcicki was a smoker.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, accounting for about 85% of all cases.

It generally grows and spreads more slowly than small cell lung cancer, which is another type.

NSCLC is categorized into three main subtypes: adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma. Risk factors for developing NSCLC include smoking, exposure to secondhand smoke, a family history of lung cancer, and increasing age.

Despite the association between smoking and lung cancer, it is important to note that non-smokers can also develop this disease. Other factors, such as genetic predisposition and environmental exposures, can contribute to the development of NSCLC.
