Nigerian influencer and model Diana Eneje has recounted a shocking incident involving a painter who allegedly helped himself to an expensive bottle of champagne while working in her home.
In a detailed rant shared on Snapchat, Diana said one of the painters hired to work on her house opened a three-year-old bottle of Ace of Spades champagne worth about ₦950,000, simply because he “came to paint.”
Describing the incident as insane, Diana said the painter went through the entire process of unwrapping the bottle, uncaging the cork, and popping it “as though he owned it.”
Frustrated and stunned, she wrote:
“If I want to start suing people, I would have a very long file. I don’t know why it’s always the mad people on my projects, and the service has been paid for.”
According to her, this is not the first time she has had unprofessional individuals working on her projects, and she questioned why such behavior keeps recurring.
The situation took an even stranger turn when Diana later discovered that the painter had hidden the half-finished champagne inside her wardrobe. She said she only realized this when she opened her closet and the leftover drink spilled onto her bag.
Diana emphasised that she had no direct relationship with the painters, noting that her dealings were strictly with the company supervisors, who she insisted must handle the matter.
With fans reacting in disbelief, the bizarre encounter has sparked conversations online about professionalism and unexpected workplace audacity.
