Federal agents operating under Operation Midway Blitz successfully located and arrested an individual who was a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) until he was convicted of major drug felonies.
The individual, whose identity was not released, was deported to Mexico after serving two years in prison, but was recently found living illegally in the Chicago area.
The alien was previously convicted of two serious felonies: Conspiracy to Process with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
These convictions resulted in the loss of his LPR status and his mandatory deportation to Mexico.
The arrest, carried out on November 2, 2025, highlights the ongoing mission of Operation Midway Blitz to track and remove criminal aliens who have re-entered the country after being deported.
Federal Officials Issue Warning
Federal authorities issued a strong statement following the arrest, emphasizing the finality of their action.
“Because you chose not to follow our laws, you lost your privilege,” the statement read. “You are not welcome here anymore. And if you try to come back, we will find and deport you again.”
This arrest demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws against individuals who have committed serious crimes, regardless of their past legal status.
