Popular rapper and Twitch streamer Darryl “DDG” Granberry Jr. was banned from Twitch while live reacting to Ibai’s La Velada del Año V event.
The ban, which occurred mid-stream, was captured on fellow streamer BenDaDonnn’s broadcast, sparking immediate reactions across social media.
Posts on X indicate that DDG’s suspension stemmed from restreaming Ibai’s event, a violation of Twitch’s terms of service.
There has been no official statement from Twitch or DDG.
“Content from this channel has been removed at the request of the copyright holder”, the DDG Twitch account reads.

DDG, known for his music and engaging IRL content, has been a prominent figure on Twitch, amassing over 1.86 million followers and ranking #21 on the platform in 2025.
Despite recent controversies, including allegations from ex-partner Halle Bailey, DDG’s streams have continued to draw massive viewership, with a peak of 207,065 viewers in May 2025.
There has been speculation that DDG may consider switching platforms, as he reportedly stated, “It’s been a good run.”
He added, “I mean, we can explore rumble if y’all won’t go ahead and change that title back.”
“Good while it lasted… it was a good run, but like we were streaming for four months straight”.
