An 18-year-old Chicago man is in custody after allegedly robbing a teenager at gunpoint earlier this fall.
Zedrick Richardson was arrested this past Thursday by a fugitive task force.
Police say he is responsible for an armed robbery that took place in the early morning hours in the Hyde Park neighborhood.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on September 13.
Richardson allegedly targeted a 19-year-old woman in the 5500 block of S. Hyde Park Boulevard.
Police report that Richardson used a firearm to steal personal property from the victim before fleeing the scene.
After a months-long investigation, authorities identified him as the suspect.
Richardson was located and arrested in the 3000 block of E. 79th Street by the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
He now faces:

Two felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
Richardson was scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing this Saturday.
