A multi-agency operation has removed a high-risk individual from the streets of Chicago following a history of violent and dangerous offenses.
Chief Patrol Agent Bovino announced the arrest via X (formerly Twitter), identifying the individual as a “criminal illegal alien” captured during Operation Midway Blitz.
The suspect’s record includes a string of serious charges that authorities described as an “explosive” criminal history.
The suspect’s previous arrests span a wide range of public safety threats, including:
-
Ordnance and Weapons Charges: Involvement with illegal explosives or military-grade equipment.
-
Violent Crimes: Battery and assault.
-
Substance Abuse: Aggravated DWI and possession of controlled substances.
-
Property Crimes: Criminal trespass.
The arrest is part of a broader push by law enforcement to identify and deport individuals who are in the country illegally and have committed violent crimes.
“We are working hard in Chicago to identify and remove illegal aliens who violate our laws and pose a risk to our communities,” Bovino stated.
Operation Midway Blitz continues to target high-priority offenders to reduce the crime rate and improve safety across Chicago neighborhoods.
