Fresh reports circulating on Instagram suggest that Nigerian Afropop star, Kizz Daniel, is facing a major legal setback as a court has allegedly ordered the freezing of all his personal and business bank accounts.
According to the reports shared on Instagram on Tuesday, September 24, 2025, the order was issued after the singer allegedly failed to pay more than €200,000 in damages for not honoring a show performance.
The reports claim that Kizz Daniel had received a $50,000 advance payment but failed to appear at the event, a move that allegedly sparked the legal tussle leading to the supposed account freeze.
As of now, the singer, whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, has not publicly addressed the issue. Neither has there been official confirmation from his legal team or management, raising questions about the veracity of the claims.
This is not the first time the hitmaker has found himself entangled in contractual disputes. Fans may recall his long-running feud with his former record label, G-Worldwide, which made headlines in the past and saw him locked in legal battles over his stage name and performance rights.
Kizz Daniel, best known for smash hits like Buga and Twe Twe, remains one of Nigeria’s most bankable artists, consistently topping charts across Africa and beyond. But these fresh reports have once again thrust his career into the spotlight for reasons beyond his music.
