Police recovered the body of a 21-year-old man on Saturday morning near the intersection of Archer Avenue and LaGrange Road.
The Willow Springs Police Department believes the man is linked to a missing persons case reported in early November from the neighboring village of Justice.
Specifically, the man may be connected to Christian Doss, who was reported missing in early November.
Christian Doss was last seen near 83rd Street and 88th Avenue in Justice, Illinois, around 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 7.
His disappearance was officially reported to the Willow Springs Police Department three days later, on Nov. 10.
The Willow Springs Police Department has not yet released the identity of the deceased man as the investigation continues.
Authorities have not stated the cause of death or if foul play is suspected.
Police are working to confirm the identity through the Medical Examiner’s Office.
