Mobolaji Johnson Train Station 

Mobolaji Johnson Train Station is located close to the Murtala Muhammed Airport. It is also known as the Ebute Metta Railway Station and is the largest train station in West Africa with multiple links to other parts of Nigeria. It can hold a maximum capacity of 6000 people at once.

The location is great because if you come in here, you’re close to major landmarks in Lagos. If you intend to travel to Ogun State or Ibadan without stress, this is the train station to use.

Location: 302 Murtala Muhammed Way, Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Alagomeji Train Station 

Alagomeji train station sounds is a great place to travel from,  with its modern amenities and well-trained staff. It’s always reassuring to know that you’re in good hands when traveling.

The train departs by Train leaves by 8 am & 4 pm during weekdays, 8: 30 am, 12 pm, and 6 pm on weekends to different parts of the country like Abeokuta and Ibadan. Tickets cost 3000 Naira for standard class, 6500 for business class, and 9000 for first class from Lagos to Ibadan. While it’s 2000 for standard class, 4500 naira for business class and 6000 naira for first class.

Location: 8 Adisa Estate, Yaba, Lagos

Apapa Train Station 

The Apapa Train Station is a container terminal located in Apapa, Lagos. It was established to reduce congestion and aid the faster movement of cargo on the road. It has daily links to Alagomeji Terminal and Ijoko Terminal in Yaba and Ogun State respectively.

Apapa Train Station provides a great alternative to road transportation when it comes to moving heavy loads and reducing traffic congestion. Plus, it’s also more cost-efficient in the long run. It’s great to see that this train station is designed to accommodate such needs.

Location: F929+8QJ, near Dockyard Rd, Apapa, Lagos

Babatunde Raji Fashola Station 

Babatunde Raji Fashola Station is a railway station in Lagos state situated near the Agege LRMT station and Agege Market.

Formerly known as the Agege Train Station, these lines provide the best routes from Lagos to Abeokuta to Ibadan. It is located near many mainland attractions including the church Apostolic Faith and the community center Malak’s Place Events Center.

Location: 2 Yisa St, Ijaiye, Lagos

Ikeja Train Station 

Although not fully operational, the Ikeja Red Line Train Station is expected to be one of the largest train stations in Nigeria, with the capacity to transport over a million passengers daily.

It will be connected to the Ikeja bus station to provide a better commuter travel experience for Lagosians and visitors. traverse on standard gauge from Agbado to Oyingbo, in the first phase, while terminating at Iddo in the second phase. Beating Lagos traffic congestion, it will have eight stations and it is expected to reduce travel by over two hours.
