Tension is already reaching boiling point in Big Brother Naija Season 10 as altercations and heated exchanges continue to erupt barely a week into the show. The atmosphere in Biggie’s house has become so intense that former housemate Pere Egbi is now predicting the inevitable disqualification of at least one contestant.
Reacting to the rising number of conflicts among the housemates, Pere took to his X account to express his shock and frustration.
“People must chop disqualification for this house. At least one. How will you fight over chicken???? Madness!!!!!!!,” he tweeted.
Pere’s statement comes after reports emerged that nearly a dozen housemates have engaged in physical and verbal fights within just the first five days of the show—raising concerns over the mental readiness and temperament of the Season 10 cast.
The most alarming incident so far involved housemate Imisi, who was caught on camera threatening to stab fellow housemate Koyin with a fork during a heated argument on Thursday night. Her aggressive outburst did not stop there, as she also spoke in Yoruba during the fight, violating a cardinal rule of the show which mandates that all communication must be in English.
Popular skit maker and online personality, Steve Chuks, also weighed in on the controversy, condemning Imisi’s behavior and calling for disciplinary action from the show’s organizers.
On his X handle, he wrote, “Imisi suppose collect 2 strikes sha, the speaking of Yoruba and the threats that she will stab someone???? C’mon!!!”
While Big Brother is yet to officially issue a statement or disciplinary measure regarding the incident, fans and viewers alike are on edge, wondering how long this chaotic energy will persist before the hammer of disqualification drops.
With this season off to such a fiery start, it appears that drama, tension, and perhaps even sanctions will be at the core of BBNaija Season 10’s storyline.
