A 55-year-old suburban man is facing a felony charge after allegedly robbing a Pilsen business at gunpoint earlier this month.
Michael Gonzalez, of the 100 block of Elizabeth Court in Bartlett, was arrested Monday morning by the Chicago Police Department’s Citywide Robbery Task Force.
The arrest took place around 8:40 a.m. in Des Plaines.
Police identified Gonzalez as one of the suspects involved in an armed robbery on December 16, 2025.
According to investigators, Gonzalez entered a commercial business in the 1700 block of West 18th Street shortly after noon, pulled out a handgun, and demanded property.
Gonzalez has been charged with one felony count of Armed Robbery with a Firearm.
He is scheduled to appear for a detention hearing today, December 30, 2025, at the criminal courthouse located at 2600 S. California Ave.
