Barcelona have confirmed that Hansi Flick has renewed his contract with the club until 2027 following his treble-winning first season.
The German manager replaced Xavi Hernandez in the summer and has been a huge revelation for the club, leading them to three domestic trophies this season.
Flick has won the Spanish Super Cup, the Copa dey Rey, and the La Liga title to cap off an impressive campaign, making the club to quickly tie him down to a long-term contract.
The former Bayern Munich manager also masterminded four victories over arch-rivals Real Madrid this season, with 16 goals to ensure a total dominance in the El Clasico for the Catalans.
Barcelona announced in a statement that Flick has committed his immediate future to the club.
The statement read: “Hansi Flick has made Barca fans happy in his first season for many reasons: for the belief he has given to the team, for the epic comebacks, and for the trophies.
“The excitement that the German has brought to the club in his first year in charge has made FC Barcelona a feared rival once again in Europe.
“Flick has won 43 of the 54 games he has been in charge, a win rate of 73%, the best in a first season since Luis Enrique recorded 83%.

“Hansi Flick is creating history at FC Barcelona and that, we are sure, will continue in the coming seasons.”
Flick also guided Barcelona to the semi-finals of the Champions League before they crashed out against Inter Milan.
Barcelona will end a successful season against Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames on Sunday with an impressive record in La Liga.
