Nollywood actress and reality TV star Annie Macaulay is charting a bold new course for her career as she announced plans to launch her own online television platform, Annie Macaulay TV, while navigating her highly publicized separation from Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
During an interview with BBC Pidgin at the recently concluded 17th Headies Awards on April 28, 2025, Annie revealed that her media project is already in motion, with fresh content on the way.
“Right now I’m working on my own TV station, my own online TV, Annie Macaulay TV. I want everyone to be ready for different things. We’ve already done a series which will soon air on Annie Macaulay TV, very soon,” she shared.
When asked about her personal life, Annie radiated gratitude and pride in her family’s strength throughout this transitional period.
“My children dey kampe, my family dey kampe. My first daughter is abroad studying, don’t play with her o, don’t play with my kids, they are my backbone,” she said proudly.
The actress also captured public attention at the event with a heartfelt shoutout to fellow single ladies, a gesture that quickly went viral and sparked widespread conversations online.
Meanwhile, 2Baba has been making headlines of his own, recently reconciling publicly with his mother, Rose Idibia, after reports of previous family tensions.
