Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has made a shocking revelation about her ongoing health battle, years after surviving a horrifying assassination attempt.

In a deeply emotional video shared on her Instagram page, the actress disclosed that she is still dealing with the aftereffects of the 2019 attack, including bullet fragments that remain lodged in her head.

Angela, 39, shared footage of herself undergoing what appeared to be a head scan. As the video played, her voice could be heard in the background, offering a sobering reflection on the fragility of life. “There is a thin line between life and death… everybody must die,” she stated.

In the caption accompanying the video, the actress detailed her current health struggles and how recent medical tests uncovered disturbing findings. “Last two weeks have been so hectic lovers. It’s been one hospital or the other running some series of tests on my head, and body,” she wrote.

The actress revealed that she hadn’t been feeling well lately and, on the advice of her doctor, was placed on bed rest. The tests, however, revealed something far more serious.

“I went for my checkups, it was found that there are still fragments of bullet pellets on my head. As years goes by more still comes out but at the end it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy,” Angela added.

Despite the alarming medical findings, Angela remained grateful and spiritually grounded. “God is with me no doubt and may his name be praised amen #legitqueen,” she concluded.

This isn’t the first time the actress has spoken publicly about the 2019 attempt on her life. In a post back in December that year, Angela shocked fans when she revealed that gunmen attacked her, leaving her with “ten bullets in my head.”

She recounted the horrifying incident, saying, “The assassins kept on shooting for 30 minutes. No help from anywhere. No human came for our rescue. Only God came for our rescue.”

Even two years later, in 2021, she disclosed that bullet pellets were still surfacing from her head, a grim reminder of the night she narrowly escaped death.

Angela’s latest update underscores the lasting trauma and physical toll of that life-threatening experience. Her revelation has sparked concern among fans and well-wishers, many of whom have flooded her page with prayers and messages of support.

As she continues her journey toward healing, Angela Okorie’s story remains a testament to survival, faith, and the unpredictable weight of past trauma.
