Shina Peller Biography

Shina Abiola Peller was born on May 14, 1976, in Lagos State. He is the son of Professor Moshood Abiola Peller and Alhaja Silifat. Although he was born in Lagos, he is originally from Oyo State, Nigeria. 

Peller grew up in the Lagos mainland and completed his primary and secondary education there. After completing his secondary school education, he went on to attend Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomosho, Nigeria. He pursued a four-year program in chemical engineering and successfully graduated from the university.

In 2003, Peller served in Abia State to complete the National Youth Service Corps’ one-year requirement for all Nigerian graduates. Following this, he went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2013. Overall, Peller has an impressive educational background, and his achievements are proof of his hard work and dedication.

Shina Peller Father 

Shina Peller’s father, Folorunsho Abiola, was a skilled illusionist and a man of many talents. He spent his early years attending the Native Authority Primary School and the Moslem School in Iseyin, where he developed an interest in magic. In 1954, he began traveling to different parts of Nigeria, including Ibadan, Lagos, and Oyo, to perform his awe-inspiring illusion tricks. 

Although he started his career as a G.B.O. representative, he eventually switched to trading in 1959. However, his fascination with magic persisted, and he decided to pursue it more seriously. In 1964, he traveled to India to study at a school of magical arts. After completing the program, he moved to Liberia, where he continued to hone his skills.

In 1966, Peller held his first post-training performance at the esteemed Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, which was met with great acclaim. He continued to perform and entertain audiences across Nigeria, becoming widely known as one of the country’s most talented illusionists. 

Sadly, Peller’s life was cut short when he was tragically killed in 1997. Nonetheless, his legacy as a magician and entertainer lives on, inspiring generations of illusionists and performers to come.

Shina Peller’s mother is Lady Peller Alhaja Silifat Adeboyin Abeo. Lady Peller is a stunning personality who is widely recognized for her remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry. 

She was the late Professor Moshood Abiola Peller’s wife, who was Africa’s top magician and a mainstay of the social scene for over four decades.

Along with her late husband, Lady Peller also performed magic tricks on various stages worldwide. Her captivating performances have left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Among his siblings are a talented magician and illusionist, Que Peller, the late Bimbo Peller, Saheed Zeeto Peller who is also a performer, Kayode Joseph Peller, Morenike Peller Basharu who is a prominent businesswoman, Akinlabi Barrack Peller, Tunde Peller, Dupe Peller, Kayode Peller, and several others.

On January 7, 2017, Shina Peller tied the knot with Ayobola Peller in a glamorous wedding ceremony that was attended by many notable figures. Shina, a renowned Nigerian businessman, and restaurateur, had been friends with Ayobola for an impressive 10 years before they finally decided to take their relationship to the next level.

The couple opted for a white wedding which took place in the charming Kogarah Bay, located in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia. Shina is a proud father of three lovely children, with Naomi Peller being one of them. Naomi is a gifted musician who has already made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. However, the names of Shina’s other children remain unknown for now.

Shina Peller Career

Shina Peller, a prominent figure in Lagos, is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Club Quilox, a renowned nightclub that has gained popularity as a hub for hospitality and nightlife. Shina Peller, a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), recently expressed his aspiration to contest for the position of member of the Federal House of Representative for the Oyo State district of Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola on the APC platform. 

After a rigorous electoral campaign, Shina Peller emerged victorious in the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary held on October 5, 2018, defeating all other candidates to secure the House of Representatives seat. Consequently, on February 23, 2019, he was elected to the House of Representatives in his district. 

Shina Peller is currently serving as the chairman and CEO of Club Quilox and the Aquila Group of Companies. In recognition of his remarkable contributions to his community, he has been awarded the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Ayedero of Yoruba land and Akinrogun of Epe land, Lagos, Nigeria.

As per trustworthy online sources, it has been reported that Peller, the Nigerian lawmaker, has a staggering net worth of approximately $50 million. Apart from his political career, Peller is also a successful entrepreneur who holds the position of Chairman and CEO of one of the most prominent nightclubs in Nigeria- Club Quilox.
