Controversial street-hop singer, Portable, has jumped into the ongoing drama between social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) and comedian Mr Jollof, following their heated altercation onboard a flight that went viral over the weekend.
The clash between the two internet personalities erupted mid-air, forcing airline officials to intervene. According to reports, both men were deboarded for violating the airline’s strict zero-tolerance policy on unruly behaviour. The video of their confrontation which saw shoving, shouting, and what appeared to be desperate bites from Mr Jollof in self-defence has since taken over social media.
Reacting to the drama, Portable wasted no time throwing jabs at the duo. In a video shared online, the Zazu crooner mocked Mr Jollof for taking hits from VeryDarkMan and “biting his way out,” while also shading VDM for failing to properly use his size during the altercation.
Portable also revisited a previous revelation that he was once approached with an offer of ₦100 million to fight VeryDarkMan, an offer he said he rejected because the amount was “too small” for someone of his stature.
He said in part:
“I see where VeryDarkMan dey jollof Mr Jollof. You see your enemy for ground, you no fight am. You see am for boarding gate, you no fight am. Why you come dey fight am inside plane?
VeryDarkMan just big for nothing. See person wey dey wan give ₦100 million make e fight me.”
Portable’s comments have added yet another layer of controversy to the already trending feud, with fans now debating who really has the upper hand and whether the proposed celebrity fight might eventually happen.
