Controversial relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has addressed the viral video that sparked widespread speculation about an alleged altercation between her and popular car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.
In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Blessing set the record straight, insisting that the circulating video had nothing to do with domestic violence, contrary to the claims made by online gossip platforms.
According to her, the incident captured in the clip was actually a robbery situation, not a lover’s quarrel.
“People love to twist stories. If IVD slaps me, I’ll slap him back, we’ll fight. That video was about a robbery, not domestic violence,” she clarified.
Blessing CEO further explained that one of their domestic staff allegedly stole valuables from their home, which led to a heated exchange when IVD confronted the suspect. The moment, she said, was recorded and later misinterpreted on social media as a violent clash between the couple.
To prevent further misunderstanding, Blessing disclosed that she deleted the video and allowed law enforcement authorities to handle the case privately.
The explanation has since generated mixed reactions online. While some fans praised her for clearing the air, others accused bloggers of spreading misinformation for clicks.
Despite the trending drama, Blessing remains unbothered and continues to publicly stand by her man, maintaining that the viral clip had no connection to domestic violence.
“It was a robbery incident, and that’s the truth,” she affirmed.
