Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has sparked yet another controversy after publicly calling out hip-hop veteran M.I Abaga, accusing him of hypocrisy and betraying loyalty amid his ongoing feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.
In a series of fiery posts on X, Odumodublvck expressed disappointment in M.I, alleging that the veteran rapper was aware of what he described as a “conspiracy” against him but chose to remain neutral. The outspoken rapper said M.I’s silence and diplomatic stance had cost him all the respect he once had for him.
“MI_Abaga, as for you, the whole world is going to be shocked that I am talking to you like this and I know they will come for me because you are very good at portraying the ‘good guy,’” Odumodublvck wrote.
“One thing they did not tell you is that I don’t care about public opinion unlike you. You stood in front of a blatant lie and decided to sit on the fence like Abuchi. I have lost every iota of respect for you.
Short man devil, you no be my OG. You are nothing but a rat. I bet you won’t reply because I am saying the truth.”
Odumodublvck’s outburst instantly sent shockwaves across social media, with fans and industry watchers divided over his comments. While some defended his right to express his frustration, many condemned his choice of words, describing it as “disrespectful” to a man widely regarded as one of the pillars of Nigerian rap.
M.I, known for his calm and diplomatic approach to controversy, has not yet responded to the allegations or insults as of press time.
The tension between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez has been simmering for weeks, with both rappers exchanging subtle jabs online and through their fan bases. However, Odumodublvck’s decision to drag M.I, someone he once referred to as a mentor and legend has added a dramatic twist to the feud, stirring renewed debates about loyalty, ego, and hierarchy in the Nigerian rap scene.
As the online firestorm continues, fans are watching to see if M.I will break his silence or maintain his usual stance of restraint. But one thing is clear: Odumodublvck has once again proven he’s unafraid to shake the table even if it means clashing with a rap legend.
