Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stirred widespread concern after publicly accusing her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of domestic violence.
In a now-viral video shared on social media, the actress appeared visibly shaken and tearful while narrating her ordeal. Surrounded by several unidentified men alleged to be thugs, Regina claimed that the lawmaker had subjected her to repeated physical abuse and harassment.
The mother of two said she could no longer endure the situation, alleging that her husband sent the men to intimidate her following a domestic disagreement.
“My life has been hell. I can’t take this anymore. He sent his people after me,” she was heard crying in the clip.
According to reports from individuals close to the couple, Regina has temporarily moved out of her matrimonial home to an undisclosed location for her safety and peace of mind.
The disturbing footage has sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans, colleagues, and human-rights advocates calling for an investigation and expressing solidarity with the actress.
As of press time, Senator Ned Nwoko has not publicly responded to the allegations, and efforts to reach his media team were unsuccessful.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko tied the knot in 2019 and share two sons together. Their marriage has often been in the public eye, but this marks the first time the actress has openly accused her husband of abuse.
The incident has reignited conversations around domestic violence and the need for greater protection and support for victims, regardless of social or economic status.
