The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, has threatened to take legal action against the organizers of Big Brother Naija Season 10, accusing them of manipulating the results that saw Imisi emerge as the winner of the reality TV show.
Ossai, who made the claims in a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, alleged that the show’s producers deliberately ensured that Dede, the first runner-up and a proud Delta native, did not win because a contestant from the same state, Kellyrae, had already won the previous season.
Expressing his disappointment over what he described as a “blatant injustice,” Ossai wrote:
“Dede was robbed by the BBNaija organizers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s season, so they didn’t want another Delta to win this year. She truly deserved the Big Brother Naija crown, not the second position.”
He further stated that Dede’s performance, charisma, and fan support throughout the 10-week show were clear indicators that she was the people’s choice and that her loss had left many fans across the country disillusioned.
“She ought to have been the winner — not because she’s from Delta, but because she made everyone who watched the show proud. I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on behalf of Dede because the voting was rigged. I’m highly disappointed in this season,” Ossai declared.
The aide’s comments have since stirred intense debate on social media, with fans divided over the credibility of the show’s voting process. While some supporters echoed Ossai’s sentiments, others argued that Imisi’s win was well-deserved and reflected the audience’s votes.
Recall that Imisi, a 23-year-old fashion designer and aspiring Yoruba actress from Ibadan, was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 on Sunday, October 5, 2025, walking away with ₦80 million after a dramatic finale that brought weeks of fierce competition to an end.
