The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house descended into chaos on Thursday night after a fiery altercation between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiraled out of control, ending in a shocking physical confrontation.
The drama began during Team Pineapple’s game session, where tensions flared after Zita accused Rooboy of disrupting her group’s performance. She lashed out at him for “blowing things out of proportion” and failing to handle situations maturely.
Rooboy, however, stood his ground, claiming he had already apologised to the team.
“I just know your teammates were pairing and I apologised,” he said, seeking validation from fellow housemates. “Sultana, Mensan, I no apologise to una?”
But Zita refused to accept his defence, stressing that the apology was never directed at her personally. Housemate Kola tried to diffuse the situation, suggesting Rooboy’s apology may have been general, but the tension only escalated.
What started as verbal sparring quickly turned nasty. Rooboy snapped, calling Zita “stupid.” She clapped back instantly, retorting: “You’re also very stupid, dumb ass man.”
The shouting match grew louder, with Zita warning, “Don’t piss me off, Rooboy,” while he taunted back: “If I piss you off, what are you going to do?”
Moments later, the confrontation reached breaking point. In a fit of anger, Zita hurled a plate of Indomie at Rooboy. In retaliation, he struck her, leaving the rest of the house in shock.
Housemate Isabella immediately confronted Zita, questioning why she had provoked him by throwing food. Still, the fact that the altercation involved both physical violence and an object being hurled has raised serious concerns.
