The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house has a new leader, as housemate Zita emerged Head of House (HoH) for Week 8, dethroning interim HoH, Koyin.
The power shift came after Monday’s Head of House challenge, a twist introduced this season by Big Brother to keep the competition unpredictable. Zita went head-to-head against Koyin, Faith, Kola, Bright Morgan, and Thelma Lawson before eventually clinching the coveted title.
Just a day earlier, Koyin had celebrated victory in the Sunday HoH game that followed the live eviction show. However, her reign was cut short when Zita outperformed her and the other contenders to claim the top spot.
With her new position, Zita now enjoys immunity from eviction for the week, alongside exclusive access to the luxurious Head of House lounge. She also wields the power to influence house dynamics and decisions that may impact the remaining housemates.
Staying true to tradition, Zita selected Kola as her special guest to share the privileges of the HoH lounge, further sparking conversations in the house about possible alliances and strategies going forward.
The coming days will reveal how Zita manages the responsibilities of her new role and whether her leadership will shift the balance of power in the BBNaija house.
