Afrobeats superstar Rema brought joy to the streets of Lagos when he met the winners of his viral Kelebu Dance Challenge.
The singer, known for global hits like “Calm Down,” surprised the group known as POP Boys during a casual outdoor hangout.
Rema launched the Kelebu Dance Challenge earlier this year to promote his new track “Kelebu,” which features energetic beats and catchy lyrics inspiring dancers worldwide.
Participants uploaded videos showcasing their moves, and fans voted for the best entries.

On August 7, Rema announced POP Boys as the winners on social media, awarding them a $10,000 cash prize (about ₦15 million), a spot in the official “Kelebu” music video, and a video chat with him.
The Lagos meetup marked the fulfillment of those promises.
The photo showed Rema smiling and chatting with the young dancers, who appeared in paint-splattered outfits.
The POP Boys, a crew of talented Nigerian youths, expressed their thrill at meeting their idol, writing, “God is Good” in a heartfelt social media post.
