The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house witnessed another dramatic twist on Monday as housemate Rooboy emerged as the new Head of House (HOH), taking over from Jason Jae.
Jason Jae had initially enjoyed the crown after winning the HOH challenge that followed the live eviction show on Sunday.
However, the latest round of the highly competitive challenge saw Rooboy outshine and outplay other contenders including Bright Morgan, Kuture, Dede, and Koyin.
The Week 5 HOH challenge was a test of not only physical endurance but also strategy and mental alertness, and Rooboy proved himself a step ahead of the pack. His victory automatically secures him immunity from nominations this week, meaning he cannot be evicted.
As the new Head of House, Rooboy gains access to the exclusive HOH lounge, a privilege that comes with power, comfort, and significant influence over house dynamics.
In keeping with tradition, Biggie instructed Rooboy to select a deputy and house guest. Making his choice, Rooboy surprised no one when he picked Zita.
“Housemates, your new Head of House is Rooboy. Kindly select your house guest,” Biggie announced.
With a wide grin, Rooboy responded, “Z to the I to the T to the A, Zita big brother.”
Zita’s selection as deputy HOH guarantees her safety from eviction this week and also grants her access to the HOH room alongside Rooboy.
The decision has already started stirring reactions among housemates and fans alike, as many anticipate how the duo will use their new privileges to shape the week’s events in the Big Brother House.
