Veteran Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known as M.I, has showered praises on his wife, Eniola Mafe, for being the backbone of his career and entrepreneurial journey.
The Hip Hop star, who tied the knot with Eniola in 2022, revealed that beyond being his life partner, she has also played a pivotal role in supporting his dreams. According to him, Eniola was the very first person to make a financial contribution when he was raising funds for his company, TASCK.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Outside The Box podcast, M.I described his wife as “the most supportive person,” stressing that her involvement goes far beyond finances.
“My wife is the most supportive person… When I started trying to raise money for my company – TASCK, she was the first person that gave me a cheque. She is the most supportive person. It is such a gift to have her. She comes for the shows, she travels with me, she is with me in the studio, she is with me on designs,” M.I said.
The rapper went on to explain how Eniola, despite having her own thriving career, still makes time to accompany him to shows, studio sessions, and even business meetings.
“Sometimes, she comes to listen to me at meetings. And she has her own work o! But every free time she gets, she comes to me. She is the most supportive person,” he added.
M.I also noted that her influence extends to his creative process. She films many of his online clips and often gives him valuable advice even when he feels he isn’t ready to hear it.
“A lot of things I even tell her that I don’t need her advice because maybe I’ve not thought deeply about a particular issue and she has already done a ten-page exposé,” he revealed with admiration.
For M.I, Eniola isn’t just a partner in marriage but a driving force behind his music and business. With her constant encouragement, he believes he has found not only love but also the strongest pillar of support in his life and career.
