Big Brother Naija Season 10 is turning into more than just a reality show, it’s becoming a confessional for raw and deeply emotional stories. In a heartfelt conversation with fellow housemate Kaybobo, Imisi revealed the painful journey of how her “perfect relationship” became toxic after she got pregnant.
Opening up about one of the most vulnerable moments in her life, Imisi described her last relationship as “the best ever” until everything changed during her pregnancy. She disclosed that her then-boyfriend, Hakeem, whom she lived with for a year, was loving and devoted at first but everything took a dark turn.
“This last relationship was my best ever relationship, not until when I was pregnant. The whole thing just went sour. He never cheated, I never saw him cheating,” she said, painting the picture of a relationship that once seemed ideal.
When Kaybobo asked, “He started cheating?” Imisi confirmed, “Yeah. Stuff started happening. He would come home late; we lived together for a year. It was really crazy.”
Despite the cracks in the relationship, Imisi emphasized that they both wanted the baby. “Hakeem loved me, and it was glaring, and I knew. He wanted the baby, and I wanted the baby too.”
But everything came crashing down after the betrayal. She revealed that even though Hakeem begged for forgiveness and promised not to hurt her again, the emotional damage was irreversible.
“When the issue that made me say I’m not doing again happened, he tried his best. He said he doesn’t want to lose me and he is not going to do it again. But I just couldn’t, because if he could take this step when I was pregnant…” she said, her voice heavy with emotion.
In a heartbreaking conclusion, Imisi shared that she miscarried the pregnancy when it was three months old, a tragic event that marked the end of both her relationship and a dream she once held dear.
The story has resonated with viewers across social media, many praising Imisi for her strength and vulnerability. Her honesty has sparked conversations about emotional trauma, betrayal, and the silent struggles many women face behind closed doors.
