Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, was granted bail on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, after turning himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
The pastor was interrogated following a viral video that showed him holding a gun-like object during a confrontation with another road user while driving an unregistered vehicle.
Police investigators revealed that the object, recovered from Pastor Adefarasin, was a stun gun, a prohibited anti-riot device, rather than a lethal firearm.
The pastor provided a cautionary statement to detectives, and the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the incident.
In a statement posted on their official X handle (@LagosPoliceNG), the police reiterated their commitment to a thorough and transparent investigation.
