In March 2023, Portable was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command after failing to honor multiple police invitations concerning an alleged assault on a studio owner. The incident escalated when videos surfaced showing Portable resisting arrest and confronting police officers at his bar in Sango Ota.

He was subsequently charged with six counts, including assault and theft of musical equipment, and was remanded at the Ilaro Correctional Centre pending the fulfillment of bail conditions.

2. February 2025 – Declared Wanted for Attacking Government Officials

On February 5, 2025, Portable was declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly leading an attack on officials from the state’s Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement exercise in Ota.

The officials reported that Portable, accompanied by others, assaulted them, resulting in injuries. Despite multiple invitations, he failed to report to the police, leading to a court order declaring him wanted.

3. February 2025 – Surrender to Police

Following the declaration, Portable surrendered himself to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba on February 19, 2025. The Lagos State Police confirmed his surrender and coordinated with the Ogun State Police Command for further investigation and processing.

4. April 2025 – Remanded in Kwara State Over Defamation Charges

On April 14, 2025, Portable was remanded in the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, after failing to meet stringent bail conditions set by an Upper Area Court. The court granted him bail at ₦1 million, requiring two sureties: one being a PMAN official and the other a property owner in a Government Reserved Area (GRA) in Ilorin with a valid Certificate of Occupancy.
