A 14-year-old boy was shot in the foot early Sunday morning on Chicago’s South Side, according to local police.
The incident happened around 3:50 a.m. in the 100-block of West 95th Street. The teenager was walking eastbound when he suddenly felt numbness in his foot, realizing he had been hit.
He was taken to Little Company of Mary Medical Center. Police confirm that the boy is expected to be released and is in good condition.
Chicago police are investigating where the shots originated. No one is currently in custody.
