Paul Rutherford, Executive Director of Cook County Crime Stoppers, called the shooting a “brazen and violent act.“
“Unfortunately incidents like this dampen the holiday,” Rutherford said.
“Someone knows who is responsible. Your information, no matter how small it may seem, could be the key to bringing justice to the victims and their families.“
Rutherford emphasized that callers can remain 100% anonymous.
“I encourage anyone in the area or who knows something about this incident… you don’t have to give your name, it’s total anonymity,” he stated.
