The award ceremony, organized by France Football, will take place today at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris, starting at 19:45. Rodri, is one of the leading contenders for the prestigious Best Player of the Year award.
In a video shared online, Rodri was seen moving with crutches. This has sparked reactions among fans.
Rodri suffered a torn cruciate ligament during the match against Arsenal (2-2) in the 5th round of the English Premier League and will miss the remainder of the season.
