An incident disrupted the evening commute along Herbert Macaulay Way inward Alagomeji on Tuesday when a traffic light pole broke from its base and crashed onto a commercial bus.
The accident, which occurred around 4:15 p.m., left one person injured and prompted an immediate response from authorities.
Officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and other emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to secure the area, remove the fallen pole, and restore normal traffic flow.
One individual sustained injuries in the incident and was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured person has not yet been disclosed.
