These people have managed to garner a name for themselves at the same time, making the name of the Igbo community resound loudly in the ears of others. Their income was obtained as a result of their dedication and hard work. 

Arthur Eze

   Arthur Eze is Igboland’s number-one business tycoon. The 74-year-old man is the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum. One of Nigeria’s leading privately owned oil production and research companies. Despite being the owner of this company, he went ahead to build Triax Airlines in 1992. Arthur Eze is an indigene of Ukpo Village, Anambra State. His net worth is 4.6 Billion US Dollars. He also owns two private jets, more than three Rolls Royces, and about four Maybachs. These vehicles serve as a testament to his wealth.

Cletus Ibeto

Cletus Ibeto is the founder of IBETO Group, a company that functions majorly in Cement, Energy, and Vehicle spare parts production. He’s a philanthropist, businessman and a producer. Cletus Ibeto ranks amongst the richest of the rich in the group of richest men from Igbo land, a testament to his successful run in the business line. His net worth sits at 3.8 billion US Dollars and vehicles he owns include a Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, and a Hilix among others. 

Allen Onyema

Allen Ifechukwu Onyema also hails from Anambra State although he was born in Benin City. His net worth is about 3 Billion US Dollars and he is the owner of the famous company Air Peace. He is also the conflict resolution expert of Nigeria and through numerous charity services, he has won the hearts of a large number of the masses. He has a Mercedes Benz, a Rolls Royce, and a Toyota Hilux.

Emeka Offor

   Emeka Offor is an indigene of Anambra State. He deals in the oil and energy business and has a net worth of about 2.9 Billion US Dollars. He’s the CEO of the Chrome Group, an oil exploration company. The headquarters of this company is in Abuja State. Some of his vehicles include a Toyota Land Cruiser, a Lexus, and a Mercedes Benz. 

Benedict Peters

Benedict Peters is another wealthy Igbo businessman. His career in oil and gas started as far back as 1990. In 1999 he worked side by side with the Founders of Ocean and Oil, establishing Sigmund Communecci. Some years later, he founded the Aiteo Group which also focused on the oil and gas industry. His net worth is about 2.7 Billion US Dollars and although he hails from Ebonyi state, he was brought up in Delta State. 

Emmanuel Andy Uba

Although he was born in Awkunanaw in Enugu State, Emmanuel Andy Uba was raised in Uga, Anambra State. His net worth is about 2.1 Billion US Dollars. His political career started when he was just in college. He was the 2011 Senator of Anambra South Senatorial District under the People Democratic Party. His major source of wealth is politics. In 2022, there were rumours that he was in a 50 million Naira debt from Oranto Petroleum Limited which led to the confiscation of his cars 

Ifeanyi Ubah

   Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah was born in Nnewi, Anambra State. He is a businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the owner of Capital Oil and Gas, one of Nigeria’s leading oil companies. He also owns the Nigerian Football Team Ifeanyi Ubah F.C. He is one of the wealthiest men in Nigeria and following his wealth, he also has a high level of popularity. His initial source of income was in the supply of vehicle spare parts and tires. His net worth is about 1.7 billion US Dollars. 

Rochas Okorocha

Rochas Okorocha is the former governor of Imo State, Nigeria, and the CEO of the Rochas Foundation, a philanthropic institution. Rochas Okorocha’s major source of income is politics. His net worth is 1.5 Billion US Dollars and his cars include a Rolls Royce, three Mercedes Benz, and a Lexus. 

Orji Uzor Kalu

Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State is also a sitting Senator of Abia North senatorial District and the House of Senate Chief Whip. He is a renowned politician and Businessman. He is also the chairman of SLOK Holdings, a multipurpose company that has investments in banking, importing and exporting, oil, production of goods, and media. His net worth is about 1.4 billion US Dollars and he has a Porsche, a Range Rover, and a Mercedes. 

Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma

Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma’s net worth is about 1 billion US Dollars. He was born and raised in Uru-Umudim, Nnewi, Anambra State. His business career started by trading in automobile spare parts after which he went on to launch his own company which he named ‘Innoson Motors’. He had received a lot of support from the former governor of Anambra State Peter Obi. His car production company is so prosperous that customers all over Africa and even on other continents request his products.
